We’re proud of our work and our reputation. We believe it’s important to reward people who help our business succeed. Our referral program is a way of thanking those who support us.

We offer 10% of invoiced work, up to a maximum of $5000 per customer.

The basics

  1. You introduce us to a potential new customer.
  2. We chat with them, and agree on next steps.
  3. If they decide to work with us, we let you know.
  4. When the customer pays their bills, we contact you requesting an invoice for your payment. 
  5. We pay you for your successful referral.

The details

We’ve done our best to outline all the conditions of this agreement in a simple and readable document. Because we’re choosing to exchange money for your referral, we’ve outlined some terms.

Eligibility

  1. A referral is when we are introduced to a new potential customer, by you or your organization.
  2. The referral program is only open to individuals or organizations that have either a working relationship or a personal relationship with Luscious Orange or our staff.
  3. Referrals do not apply to individuals who work for the potential new customer.
  4. We are under no obligation to accept a referral, take a meeting, work with a new customer, or accept an offer to perform work.
  5. If for any reason, we believe the referral is suspicious, unethical, unlawful, or harmful, we are under no obligation to accept the referral or pay referral fees.
  6. Any individual or organization who wishes to receive referral payments must first sign an agreement which is very similar to what you are reading here.
  7. We do not pay referral fees for previous or existing customers, or for any referral prior to the start of this program on November 1, 2024.

Money and finances

  1. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
  2. Referral fees are based on 10% of invoiced amounts before taxes. We do not pay for leads, only billable work.
  3. We are under no obligation to provide any reporting, proof of billing, financial records, or documentation of any sort. You must take us at our word on how much you are owed.
  4. We pay a maximum of $5000 per referral customer.
  5. Payment and invoicing schedules are at our discretion. We reserve the right to align our payments with the project schedule, client payments, or with a regular billing schedule such as monthly, quarterly, etc.
  6. In the event of long-term or ongoing work, we will continue to pay the referral fee on that work, up to the maximum amount per client, stated above.
  7. There are two exceptions to the program:
    1. Any fees that customers pay for hosting and long-term support are not included in this program.
    2. Any subscriptions related to Site Peel, our website auditing tool are handled separately. We offer the same rate, however those must be done via the referral codes in that application, when a user subscribes.

Other conditions

  1. We reserve the right to postpone/terminate this program at any time, however we will continue to pay out previously agreed upon referral fees.
  2. We reserve the right to modify this program at any time, and each new referral will be considered under the latest terms and conditions.
  3. We will be transparent with our new potential customers, indicating that there is a referral relationship. We will answer any questions they may have, and clarify that it doesn’t affect their costs, but that you or your organization benefits from the arrangement.
  4. At our discretion, we can consider a person who runs multiple businesses, to be a single customer. The referral does not multiply to every business they run.
